How We Stack Up

Current TEAMGOLDUSA compliance by role. One person may count once in every role they hold, but never twice inside the same role row.

BGC

Background screening. Required for eligible adult child-contact roles. Parent coverage is optional recognition using every active parent/guardian as the denominator. For under-18 Junior Coaches, TEAMGOLDUSA treats Background as optional coverage rather than a Junior Coach compliance requirement.

Safe Sport

Current role-appropriate Safe Sport education. Parent/Athlete/Junior Coach status also follows TEAMGOLDUSA Fall/Spring participation windows.

CANRA

Mandatory-reporting education. Required for applicable adult child-contact roles. Parent coverage is optional recognition, and for under-18 Junior Coaches TEAMGOLDUSA treats CANRA as optional coverage rather than a Junior Coach compliance requirement.

CPT

Concussion Protocol Training. Required for applicable team/deck roles; optional parent coverage recognizes trained parents.

CPR

Current CPR/AED certification. Required for coaching roles; optional parent coverage recognizes parents who are trained.

STSC-W

Safety Training for Swim Coaches — in-water. Required for coaching roles; optional Parent coverage recognizes multi-role parents who hold it.

STSC-O

Safety Training for Swim Coaches — online. Required for coaching roles; optional Parent coverage recognizes multi-role parents who hold it.

Public reporting: percentages use the applicable role population. N/A means the item does not apply to that role. Optional means recognition/coverage, not a compliance requirement; Jr Coach Background and CANRA remain green Optional coverage even at 0%. Zero-percent required cells remain suppressed publicly except that an active Jr Coaches row is always shown and its Safe Sport gap is reported explicitly. Administration continues to show all gaps. TEAMGOLDUSA seasonal standard: parents and athletes are still asked to refresh Safe Sport education each Fall (July 1–December 31) and Spring (January 1–June 30).

Start with the resource you need.
